Foundation & Specialty Classes

In some cases, students may be required start with a private consult.

The following are a selection of some private and group classes that are offered online or outdoors (in Regina, SK). Each class is a set of four 30-minute sessions that are scheduled once a week. Prices start at $84 (GST included). Contact Jennifer if you are interested in more information about the following classes.

Watching the World: Creating calm and confidence for dogs of any age

Students are provided information and instruction to help their dog feel safe and relaxed and to settle in various environments, starting with inside the home/yard and progressing to other environments such as parks. These classes can be private or a combination of private and group classes (outdoors). Group classes are limited to 4 students at a time. Outdoor sessions are held in Regina, SK and mileage charges may apply.

  • Private sessions are scheduled once a week (or more frequently, if schedules allow).
  • Online group sessions are held on weekend mornings (or by appointment when available).
  • Outdoor group sessions are held on weekend mornings (or by appointment when available).

Level 1: A set of four 30-minute private sessions (online or outdoors) PLUS four 30-minute group sessions (online). $84 (GST included) plus mileage (if applicable).

Level 2: A set of four 30-minute group sessions (outdoors) PLUS four 30-minute group sessions (online). Students must graduate from Level 1 before enrolling in Level 2. Limited to 4 spots. $126 (GST included).

Nail Trims and Other Grooming & Handling: Teach your dog to be a willing participant

This is for dogs of any age, but ESPECIALLY PUPPIES. It is a good way to prevent of future problems and plan for scenarios that might come up in the future (e.g., putting on a cone after surgery, applying ear drops, performing pet first aid, or removing a tick). This is also suitable for dogs who don’t tolerate getting their nails trimmed and/or other handling and grooming (e.g., bath time, ear medication, brushing). Students will work with their own dogs in the comfort of their own home as they learn how to build their dog’s trust and cooperation within the context of various handling and grooming activities.

Preventing Separation Anxiety: Helping your dog feel safe and relaxed when alone

This is great for puppies to prevent problems before they start and for dogs who may have a mild aversion to being alone. For moderate to extreme cases, a full private consult is required.

Manners Around Guests

This is for dogs who are happy and excited about people coming to the door and guests visiting. This is great for puppies to teach good manners before undesirable habits are formed. For cases where dogs are anxious/fearful/aggressive towards people at the door and guests, a private consult is required.

Car Rides and the Dog: Helping your dog be safe, relaxed and well-mannered in the vehicle

This is for dogs of any age, but especially for puppies to start off right.

Helping Your New Dog Adjust to Your Home

These sessions provide information and instruction to help newly adopted dogs adjust to their new living arrangements and learn basic skills that will help them thrive in their new environment.
