The information below is provided to allow Canadian dog guardians to support Canadian dog food companies. The rating system used is as follows:
- one star: The company is considered a Canadian company (such as headquarters is in Canada, the owner and/or a majority of the employees are Canadian, etc.)
- two stars: the company is considered a Canadian company (see above) and the dog foods meet the guidelines for “Made in Canada” (minimum of 51% ingredients are sourced in Canada and produced in Canada)
- three stars: the company is considered a Canadian company (see above) and the dog foods meed the guidelines for “Product of Canada” (minimum of 98% ingredients are sourced in Canada and produced in Canada).

| Perfectly Raw ★★1/2 | Made in Manitoba. Information as of March 2025. Manufactured in Manitoba. All products except two meet the Product of Canada guidelines (minimum 98% ingredients from Canada). The wild caught salmon comes from BD and all other meats/eggs come from within a two-hour drive of the plant in Starbuck Manitoba. The two products that are not 100% Canadian sourced are the chicken dinner with fruits and veggies and the turkey dinner with fruits and veggies. The only ingredient that we do import is the custom-made dehydrated fruits and vegetable blend which goes into these two products, at the rate of 18% in each product.
